Martin y un basketballista llamado Ray Jackson pronto se ven metidos en un problema. Cierta Gente los contacta para que les ayduen a atrapar a los Agregados. Podran hacerlo?

This book is about a girl called Gilda Joyce. She would like to be a physic investigator when she grows up, so she does all kinds of spying and reading physic books to contact spirits. For summer vacations, she goes to San Francisco to visit a relative cousin of her mother’s; an uncle. He has a daughter called Juliet, who is the same age as Gilda. At first, they don’t go along very well, but as time passes they become friends because they want to solve a mystery: Why is Aunt Melanie haunting Juliet? Aunt Melanie was Juliet’s father’s sister. She had mental problems, and one day before they sent her to a psychiatric hospital, she jumped from a tall tower from the house and killed herself. Juliet and Gilda want to enter the tower to see what’s in there, but they will have to do many, many things before they’re able to do it. Like find the key to the tower, find out the possible reasons for Aunt Melanie to commit suicide, make contact with Melanie’s ghost, etc. Will they be able to do all these things before summer ends and discover the big secret?

My dream

I´d always wanted a brother or a sister. Always. Every Christmas and every one of my birthdays, since I remember, I´d wish over and over again that I´d get a new sibling. But each year passed, and I ended up with lots of gifts; clothes, shoes, games, a fish, a bike, roller skates, even a poodle called Pupy...... But no brother or sister. Until the day came, the day when I suspected that something was going on in my family. And I was going to discover what it was.

A month had passed since my 6th birthday. Again, I ended with clothes, shoes, games, and no brother or sister. I was really, really disappointed and sad. But for once, I forgot the whole brother/sister situation and noticed that my mother got fatter and fatter every day. I thought, “Oh, my gosh! Mom´s tummy is bigger everyday and it´s my fault! I won´t ask her to take me to Ventolini for an ice cream EVER again.” Even though we stopped going to Ventolini, everybody in my house looked festive and happy (even though I don´t know how could they not be sad because, hey, people! No Ventolini anymore! Don´t they just love it?), Mom´s tummy grew bigger, and so did my curiosity.

It was a sunny morning even though we had already changed to winter season. I could smell the fresh flowers bathed in its sweet perfume as I climbed in the Colegio Colombo school bus. I had wanted to ask Mom what was happening, but she was asleep and Dad had already left to work. I decided it would do no harm to ask her in the afternoon when I got back from school. All throughout the day, I was so impatient! I already wanted school to end. I couldn´t hold my curiosity longer. But little did I know that I wouldn´t have to wait until the end of school to discover the ‘Fat tummy mystery’......

For the 47th time that day, I looked at the clock. It was 11:57 a.m., just a couple more hours for the ‘Fat tummy mystery’ to be solved. I was really bored, even though I loved art class; I didn´t know what to draw, and if I didn´t drew something, Ms. Rivera would be mad at me. And I didn´t want my favorite teacher to get mad at me. I stifled a yawn as Ms. Rivera came to see what I had drawn. I covered the paper with my hands, and just when she was about to snatch the paper away from me, the principal came in and saved the day. He looked at me and summoned me to follow him. As we left, Ms. Rivera shot me a stern look. When we got to his office, I saw that the telephone was off the hook. Mr. Simons said, “Go ahead.”
“Hello?” I said, doubtfully.
The voice said, “Hi, sweetheart. Your grandma is going to pick you up at school a little early.” It was Dad.
I was confused, but I said, “Ok.” A while later, I was on Grandma´s red car, on our way to......... Who knows!
I tried to ask her, but all she said was, “You´ll see when you get there.” When she parked in the Fundación Valle del Lilí, I was more frightened than surprised. I thought, did someone have a horrible accident? Did someone died? My heart started to beat faster, but the calm look on Granny´s face assured me that nothing bad was going on. Minutes later, we were about to enter the room 804. Grandma ushered me to open the door. Then it struck me. Mom getting fatter, staying in the house instead of at her work, Dad constantly calling her, everybody happy and festive and now this.......... It was SO obvious! How didn’t I think about it! I slowly opened the door, afraid that it might not be what I thought. When I fully opened I wanted to scream for joy, but calmly, with a huge happiness wanting to burst from mi inside, I walked over to where Mom and the biggest of my dreams, now come true, where.

His name was Camilo. He was the softest, cutest, most beautiful baby I´d ever seen. He was the surprise that my parents had kept a secret for 9 months. I treated him with love and care and treated him like a royal king. He has been the best gift that my parents could´ve given me (without counting my own life), and I thank God that he still is here to make me mad and bother me all the time, because I love him more than I loved anything in my life (without counting my parents!)

Esta pelicula es muy buena porque deja muchzs enseñanzas para la vida:
-La mas significativa me parece que es el tema del racismo. yo creo que a todo el mundo se le debe tratar por igual, sin importar el color y la raza. En esta pelicula se ve muy claramente las consecuencias del racismo, pero tambien como pocas persons pueden hacerle cambiar de pensamiento a muchas personas.
-Otra enseñanza es la de hacer su mejor esfuerzo para lograr algo que se cree imposible. Y hacer a un lado las difernecias para lograr algo que se quiere. Esta pelicula muestra la cooperacion en equipo y lo significativo de la amistad.
-la ultima enseñanza que me dejo la pelicula, es que sin iportar sus discapacitaciones, una persona puede triunfar y lograr sus sueños.

La pelicula Busqueda Implacable es mi pelicula favorita. Se trata de una niña que se va a Paris con su amiga y las secuestran. El papa, que es un espia retirado tiene que buscarla antes de 96 horas, porque si no nunca la va a encontrar. Esta pelicula esta llena de accion y mucha aventura. Pero tambien hay partes super impresionantes, como cuando el electrocuta al que secuestro a su hija. La recomiendo mucho.

En la clase de etica vimos 3 peliculas: Duelo de Titanes, El Regalo Supremo y Leccion de Honor. La que mas me gusto fue El Regalo Supremo. Me parecio una excelente pelicula porque enseña muchos valores y deja muchas enseñanzas. Esta pelicula se tratade un señor muy rico que al morir les deja una herencia a su familia, excepto a su nieto. El esta muy bravo, pero luego se da cuenta de que su abuelo si le dejo una herencia pero tiene que pasar una serie de pruebas, y cada una tiene un regalo. Por ejemplo el regalo de la amistad, etc. Antes de hacer las preubas el es muy malcriado como el resto de su familia, pero cuando termina las pruebas y recibe la herencia es muy bueno. Durante las pruebas el conoce a una señora y a su hija que tiene leucemia. Esta pelicula me gusto mucho.

En octubre trabajamos en Microsoft Publisher. Hicimos un broshure, un diploma y un calendario. Me encantó el ClipArt donde podíamos poner fondos de diferentes diseños e iconos de decoración. El broshure era para Spirit Week, ese fue el que me quedó más colorido y con más herramientas. El calendario y el diploma también me quedaron chéveres. Me gustó mucho este programa porque lo podemos usar para proyectos de la clase.

De septiembre 15 al 30, estuvimos trabajando en Microsoft Office Excel. Primero trabajamos en una actividad de Science de nuestra dieta y compararla. Me gustaron las aplicaciones que podíamos ponerle bordes de colores a las grapas y relleno de colores. También hicimos una encuesta de ICT. Yo quería saber cuántas veces escuchan música al día las personas de mi clase. Los resultados estaban súper variados. Aquí los pueden ver…
